Il borgo di Pagliana: apartments for your holidays.

Pagliana is situated in the district of Firenzuola, in the heart of the Apennines, 50 km from Florence and 50 km from Bologna. It has an excellent position for daily visits to the cities of art, for beautiful walks along the ancient roman road used by Hannibal at the guide of his army, for baths and walks along the course of a river where the nature is still as it was 1000 years ago.


Further tasting the specialities of the area which is a mix of Tuscany and Romagna. Home made pasta, grilled meat coming from the cows raised next door, bread made with local spelt, delicious pastry made with flour from chestnuts picked by gnomes and elves in the thousand year old wood. Nearby Pagliana you can find horses for rides, swimming pool, fishing, tennis and golf.


The harmony of the nature becomes the ideal frame to find oneself again, together with the emotions that seemed lost.

Our apartments have been realized restructuring two big hamlets. In the first one dating back to the seventeenth century, there are 2 apartments. In the second one, from the eighteenth century, there are 7 apartments in different sizes. Summertime, in the old stable, a bar is run by the local inhabitants.

All the apartments are recently restructured and furnished. They can be rented both weekly and annually.
